Would you eat this?

It's popular ... I'm intrigued. I'd like to try it.

Chef Craig Koketsu of Park Avenue Autumn gets his customers to order broccoli by putting Cheetos all over it. In this week's In Season recipe, Koketsu shares his unlikely pairing in a video demonstration. “It’s our most popular side dish,” he told Rob and Robin in the magazine. “It outsells French fries.”

I don't hate cheetos. I hate trying to get them out of my teeth. Ick.

Just the smell of broccoli makes me want to puke.

I hate cheese, but I like Cheetos. Go figure. That said, this dish doesn't really appeal to me, but I would try it.

I love broccoli and would NEVER eat it with that orange shit on it.

I guess the question should be, why would you eat this?

I love broccoli and I love Cheetos. Don't know if I'd love them together but I'd be willing to give it a go. When my nieces were little, they would just dump all kinds of cheese all over their broccoli and eat it. I was amazed to see 5-year-olds chowing down on broccoli. I never got there with those kind of veggies until I was in college.

Have you steamed it instead of boiling it?

I hated for years, then three years ago I ate it steamed. It is very good.

This thread brings up a good point: Why bother eating something healthy if you drown it in cheese/butter/mayo/etc?

Unless you're insane -- Hi 93 Devil! :D -- you probably didn't order broccoli for its sheer deliciousness. Aren't the Cheetos kinda defeating the purpose?
