    That dude will never have to do anything his wife asks him for again.

    "Can you wake up with the kids? I'm tired."
    "Remember when I saved you from getting raped and beat the guy to death?"
    "You pull that card every time."
    "I did, though."

    Did the guy die? The story doesn't say, except that he was charged with manslaughter, downgraded to assault.

    Yeah. As someone said, that story kind of sucked. The other tabloid did a better job. He got a phone call while he was trying to park his livery cab near their home, and his wife was screaming. He ran upstairs with a tire iron. When he got there, they pointed out the guy, who was trying to leave via the elevator and he beat the guy to death with the tire iron.

    That may not have stopped the rapist.

    What he could have done is connect his jumper cables and coax rapist close enough so that he could zap him.
