    I would think the appropriate answer would be "however she lets me."

    "How would you like to enter Miss Southampton?" "Yes."

    Doesn't make sense.

    I don't think "how" in this case is asking "in what way." I think it's used in the sense of "how would you like an ice cream cone?" You wouldn't say "in my hand." You'd say something like, "Yes, I would like one."
