Would people please quit predicting a cap on gas prices?

I predict there will be no general upward climb in newspaper circulation or advertising revenue.

    And will slowly fall.

It's no more ridiculous than trying to predict --- in March with seas calm --- how many hurricanes will form and how many will hit the U.S.

But an "above-average" season is predicted anyway . . . for the 138th year in a row.

And hondo uses it as proof that global warming doesn't exist.

I would love to see some of these oil speculators take it in the shorts like the brothers in Trading Places or the job Bud Fox did in Wall Street with Blue Star.

I predict a cap on baseball players.

    One for each, too.

I also predict the cap on a beer will come off in five seconds.

    Holy craps, I was right.

I predict that the sun will come up today. It may hide behind a cloud, or it may rain, but the sun will come up today.

It actually dropped to $3.42 at one spot (and I filled that sucker up immediately because it's going to head up again soon.)

I'll say $4.25, but if another big hurricane forms in the Gulf, watch out for $5.
