Jeff Triplett laughs in your general direction.

I don't think it's OK to still be bitter 20 years later. Especially since the Cardinals won a World Series recently.

Also, championship teams can overcome bad calls like Denkinger's was. The Cards didn't; thus, they didn't deserve the 1985 World Series crown.

The charging call was his fave. He'd start at the baseline and dash all the way to midcourt with one hand tucked behind his head and the other straight forward in a balled fist.

For a while, I thought he was one of the "dancers" in Madonna's "Vogue" video. Froggy certainly knew how to strike a pose dripping with overdrama.

I probably could have added with any of the NBA's three "Company Men" -- Dick Bavetta, Hue Hollins or Bennett Salvatore. Or SEC football officials as a whole. Or Eric Gregg. I tried to pick a representative from each league off the top of my head, in an effort to have a little fun. So sue me.
I'm really just ashamed that I thought Danny Davis cost the Killer Bees, instead of the British Bulldogs, the tag titles.

Luckett's so incompetent he appears unable even to wipe his own ass.

Lest we forget the Pac 10 football officials. And no, I'm not an OU fan.

Long live the Thanksgiving Day overtime coin flip. It may be the last thing the Detroit Lions won.

Not a big Chuck Meriwether fan. I remember he almost gift-wrapped Mussina a no-hitter against the Tigers in the 90's thanks to a strike zone that was roughly 12 feet wide.

Eric Gregg; GM 6 or 7 of 1997 NLCS, Livan Hernandez should pay him an annuity for his career.

Because this just never gets old when a Cardinals fan brings up Denkinger:

Team stats G AB R H 2B 3B HR RBI BB SO BA
    ------------ - --- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -----
    Total 7 216 13 40 10 1 2 13 18 42 .185
