Heard about this on the radio today and I have to say I agree with their voting, this song is awful

I actually liked Celine's and Anastasia's rendition of the song. It at least gave me something that wasn't wreck-your-throat screaming that I could use for karaoke.

I definitely agree with their pick of Jimi's version of "All Along The Watchtower" as the best cover. Even Bob Dylan said Jimi sang it better than he did.

Avril Lavigne's cover of "Basket Case." If I were Green Day, I'd sue.

Neither have I. What makes Avril's version so awful?

Oh, God. I'll find it. But you guys owe me.

It's flat, lacks energy and is horribly bad. Let's hunt.

I would guess the fact that it is Avril is bad enough

"Behind Blue Eyes" - Limp Bizkit

Think about it for a minute. Limp Bizkit, of all the bands in the fucking universe, tried to cover the Who. I'm sure Pete Townsend was thrilled. ::) ::) ::)

I think "END OF THREAD" may apply in this instance:

Damn Mike that was bad. Is there anyone in the audience old enough to have heard the Green Day version?

I heard she just tried to cover "Knockin' On Heaven's Door." I'm sure she thought "Cool, a Guns 'N Roses song."

    Deport her.

I like Avril, but that definitely was not her best moment.

And the only thing I didn't like about Limp Bizkit's cover was the "extra" verse. The Who's version actually had better energy.

Some artists just should never cover certain songs.
