World's longest basketball shot

Take it with a grain of salt. It's on the internet. It's still pretty damn cool, though. Some guys at Texas A&M set up a basket on the track near the playing surface at Kyle Field, then drain a shot from the upper deck.
With enough practice, this is possible, right?
The thing that makes me think it's fake is the way the ball hits the backboard. It's one of those portable deals. Seems like something traveling with that much momentum would knock that basket clean over. Instead, it just glances off it and goes through the hoop.

    This was just on SportsCenter.

If the WWL thinks it happened, who are we to question it? :D

    I buy it.

Not my life-savings, but I buy it.

Batman brings up a point about knocking over the goal, but the ball is falling at a much greater rate than it's flying out. It passes my high-school physics test.

If not, as they say, it's for charity!

    Real - without a doubt

Actually, it would be better for the kid if he could do a fake this good. Pixar would be on line one and Disney on line two.

Without a doubt, huh? Not a single doubt? None?

I'm not saying I think it's fake -- apparently, they tried that shot all day until they made it -- but to say without a doubt might be a bit much. I mean, were you there?

The reaction of the backboard was too real. The way the net caught the rim...

I'm living proof that you don't necessarily have to attend class to graduate college. Sure, it took me 12 years, but still....

You obviously did not have to eat a crab sandwich to graduate from college.
