U.S. has whiffed on a penalty shot and hit the post on a completely clean breakaway.

TSN announcers being pleasantly non-homery questioning a call against the U.S., though I think it was probably a good call.

3-2 on a shorthanded 2-on-1 from the Americans.

    Canada is playing like shit.

The power play is worse than non-existent, it's allowed two shorthanded goals.

And the defence absolutely stinks. Ryan Ellis is particularly awful.

Two shorthanded goals by the US is not good.

3-2 for the US after two and the Americans have been the faster team.

U.S makes it 4-2. This is going to cause some hand-wringing.

Home team ties at four with their own shortie with less than five minutes to go. Saskatchewan goes nuts.

Canada just scored again, but it's no goal. The whistle blew first for some stupid reason.

EDIT: Fucking stupid "crease violation." And the face-off comes outside the U.S. line. Bullshit.

Whistle blew because there was a guy on top of the U.S. goalie. At least for a second. Hell of a call to have to make, either way.

Canada finally woke up after making it 4-3.

    OT should be fun.

I'm taking Hall in the first minute and a half

    What's different about IIHF shootouts?

I think you can use the same players repeatedly, if I'm not mistaken.....
