Yeah, I think we had a discussion about Romanuk last year and Elliotte mentioned that he's living in the U.K. now.

Xan provided a link to a video of the goal the kid scored in the pre-tourney game.

    3-1 Yanks.

Romanuk was the voice of hockey on TSN for many years until he went to Europe where his wife was transferred.

My boy Jay Harrison is with the Canucks at the Spengler too.

There are only two players--Machesney & Kemp--who aren't playing for a European club.

I'm assuming there must be some tournament rules about this.

Stacy Roest is another Spengler vet. Martin Kariya (!) didn't quite have the career of his brother. Himelfarb is a name from the past, I remember watching him in the O with Barrie and Kingston. Scalzo was a good offensive D-man with Rimouski when Crosby played there.

Machesney's the youngest guy on the team. Hard not to cheer for him, given where he's come from to get there.

Richie Regehr, Robyn's younger brother, is one of two holdovers for Team Canada. And I remember Kwiatkowski from the Rockets and the Cougars ... Ritchie from the Hurricanes.

A lot of Ontarians on the team ...

4-1 Yanks. Gotta love the Canucks in the crowd booing the Americans.

The U.S. is going through Germany like Sherman went through Atlanta.
