Sports editors, are you looking for an experienced hand to cover the USA at the World Cup in Brazil in June? Well, then you found your man.

My name is Michael Lewis and I will be covering the USA in the group stage and as long as they remain alive.

Covering the World Cup certainly isn't new to me because I have a proven track record. I have attended and covered the past seven competitions, starting with the 1986 event in Mexico (six for the New York Daily News). So, I am quite accustomed to the daily grind and deadlines and how unique the tournament is.
