    Yeah, that's some very, very weak sauce there. I wonder if he ran it by Freeman first, hey I'm going to rip Woody and mention you were laughing, too. I had a higher standard for Freeman than that and would love to find out he had no knowledge he was going to be mentioned there.

    We all have written bad ledes. Yet 99.9 percent of us have never called out another writer in print like that.

    Woody has ripped his competition in the past. But that was way below the belt. I'm with Moddy, I'll bet Freeman is not happy to have his name attached to that.

    I've always liked Doyel. I've always found him to be refreshingly honest and I like his writing, but he went way over the line here.

    Could be payback. Word is, Woody once laughed at some of Freeman's claims on a resume.

    Glad to know that Doyel is the future of this business. Glad that the first commenter on the blog entry notes the gulch between its writer and a fellow named Jim Murray.

    I've always liked him, too. Still do. Doesn't change that crap being some very weak sauce.

    And I'd take Woody over Doyel in a cage match 10 days a week.
