    He's from Tennessee. He went to UT. You would think he wouldn't portray all Southerners as Iffen Redneck Hillbillies.

    I hope Sports by Brooks finds good dirt on him and when I say good dirt, I mean stories that were written this decade. He's not getting fired for columns written 15+ years ago.

    Still, what we've seen thus far is quite enlightening.

    I can happily envision someone in the same room with him whistling the Deliverance theme.

    It seems like the MO is when he goes to a big, out-of-town event like a Super Bowl, he treats in as a junket, goes on cruises or to Disney and turns in some Flannery O'Connor fiction.
