Wow. Great, great column. Hopefully someone who needs to read it, will do so and get the help he needs.

 

I echo all of the compliments. Has to be tough to put that out there about yourself, but at the same point, he knows if it helps one person, it's worth every bit of it.

 

What a fantastic read, but does anyone know the link between benedryl and diabetes? Or were they just giving him that to sleep?

I've never heard of any connection between Benadryl and diabetes, and I've had it for nearly 25 years. I'm guessing it was just a sleep aid, and probably one that they figured wouldn't mess up his chemistry any more.

To which end:

How do you end up on a cocktail like that? What doctor could possibly think giving someone all six of those was possibly a good idea? Do these people not read the news?

 

Always been a fan of Paige...even his TV work. He always seemed to be a genuine guy who was just doing his thing.

Very moving work with this. Hopefully, his message can reach someone out there that is struggling too.

 

Excellent column, and it took him a lot of guts to write that.

If he helped even one person, then it was worth it.
