I hope we parachute into Russia this time.

Here's something I always wondered. Would/could the Russians have taken a crime-riddled inner-city area, say in Chicago or New York or LA?

What's the shortest time in between the original and the re-make? I'm just now seeing re-makes of movies that were made during my childhood. "Fever Pitch" comes to mind.

As Rick told the Nazis in Casablanca: "Well there are certain sections of New York, Major, that I wouldn't advise you to try to invade."

I frequently wondered about that too. I would think they would have just nuked the big cities, then used their forces for the countryside.

It would have been something though, to see the Russians try to keep order in gang territory.

And who are the Americans going to be fighting in Red Dawn II? Bin Laden?

Martians. Or, the Russians after they make a comeback.

Urban warfare is pretty tough, or so I hear.

Red Dawn was actually based on American projections of a Russian ground invasion.

And in blast from SportsJournalists.com past, Red Dawn, great movie or greatest movie? Those are your choices.

    Worst. Remake. Idea. Ever.

Well, at least since those rumors of Ben Affleck starring in a Casablanca remake.
