That's because the show wouldn't let Wolf let his CNN producers give him the answers through his earpiece ... :)

Believe it or not, the quickest and smartest celebrity player I've ever seen on Jeopardy! was Cheech Marin. He was amazing. Carol Burnett wasn't far behind.

he probably had the munchies and just wanted to get the show over with.

  4. By and large comedians are the better players.. quick thinkers, topically up to date and fairly intelligent.

    He'd of been my bitch...

Actually, you know who was really good was the late Jerry Orbach. In the green room, they have pictures of many of the celebrities who have competed over the years and one of the contestant coordinators said he was arguably the smartest one they had at that time.

It doesn't matter how much money she made. I'd watch Dana Delany reading the phone book.

He'd of? And you call yourself a Jeopardy! champion?!

Oh wait ... you can do whatever you want and still call yourself a Jeopardy! champion.

Found it somewhat odd (not really) that CNN didn't mention it at all. But you'd think someone on one of the other cable nets would have.

and yeah, big Dana Delany fan.

Forget the phone book, I'd watch Dana Delany reading the dictionary, or anything else she wanted to read.

Have scant use for Burnett, professionally,
but she's always extraordinarily-well-prepared for anything she does, and
am not surprised she was good at this.

Orbach (RIP) was a professional know-it-all in the best possible sense, and not surprised he had superb
    floor-wiping capabilities
    in this specific niche.
