Wow - thread I sure hit 40 pages fast.

So much for the CT Suns running the table . Last night their undefeated season came to a crushing end when they were blown out by Indiana at home

What happened to the first thread? That stuff was funny.

  4. A nice story in Katie Douglas scoring 23 points in her return to Connecticut. She led the Indiana Fever to a 75-46 win over Connecticut. Douglas played five seasons in Connecticut but was traded to Indiana for Tamika Whitmore during the offseason.

The only interest I have in the WNBA is seeing who is going to be the Girl Who Changes The WNBA forever. Every year or so, a bunch of columnists slobber over the fact that THIS girl is the one who will magically transform the league into the Big Time with their skills and charm.

    Chamique Holdsclaw
    Rebecca Lobo
I am sure I'm missing others in past years.
The year, the LA Times has a boner for Candace Parker. She's going to be the one who changes things.

John Wooden thinks this thread is much more enjoyable than the NBA thread.

All of you who hate the WNBA are misogynistic, sexist, chauvinistic pigs and members of the He-Man woman haters club.

There can be no other explanation for why you might not enjoy women's basketball.........

Is Sharon Stone Margo Dydek still playing?

I know she retired, but Jenifer Azzi can play on my team any time.

  10. Does she make enough money to keep you in the style in which you are accustomed?

This shit drives me crazy. Coming on a journalists' site, it's downright embarrassing.

How could Rebecca Lobo "change" the WNBA forever?

She entered the league the first year it started playing.

What the fuck was there to change?

Excellent point. Let me rephrase that: "Player X will lead the WNBA into the mainstream of popular American sports".
