The United States Basketball League did this in its last few years. They brought eight teams together at one site and did single elimination. We went to one of the "Postseason Festvials" when it was held in Salina and it was a pretty cool concept.

I had to put my reading glasses on to make sure that wasn't a purple dildo in "Rise"

The teams are alphabetical, MTM. That's how all the cool kids do it these days :)

It is backwards in the text of the tweet also.

It's the text that bothered me. I get it in the graphic.

MTM, you're right that it is ridiculous in both instances. The winning score should always go first.

How many of the NBA teams still invest in/run the local WNBA team? I thought the whole deal was to get a few thousand into the arena 10 times a summer to sell some hot dogs and Cokes. MLS teams have mostly broken away from the NFL guys, so filling up stadiums isn't as important.

If you'd told me 20 years ago when both leagues started that MLS would draw more fans per game than the WNBA, I would've thought you were nuts.
