Without Sylvester Croom

Spencer Tillman sucks. He sounds articulate, but if you listen closely he says nothing and often uses bad grammar. I don't know why people keep trotting him out there.

 

I have a difficult time believing that race was not a factor in filling the Auburn job.
As for Carroll, yeah if he were black, he probably wouldn't have gotten the opportunity the first time. However, as someone who who did cover Carroll when he was with the Jets, I found him to be a great source. He's a friendly sort and I have never found anyone to say anything negative about him. He told you more off the record stuff as a coach than as a head coach but that's to be expected but Pete is good people.
