    The thought process is that if the losing team pulls to within 35, there is a possibility they could come back. Like other states, it stops on called time outs -- coaches and official, and change of possession.

    No mercy rule in Indiana, though I'd like to see it.

    Meanwhile, where is Starman? This thread begs his presence, if for no other reason than entertainment value.

    Shit, I once watched a 77-14 game in Florida ... in the freaking 5A championship game.

    Yeah, then you wouldn't have scores like 84-18, 69-0 or 73-0 (same score in two games in one weekend) ... oh, wait.

    (For those of you sarcasm-deprived, those were all scores from Michigan last weekend.)

    I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that when Mike Bush was in high school, Male was up 49-0 one of the scrub Louisville teams after the first quarter.
