Winding down...

just "finished" 14-page broadsheet covering five schools and with this being the absolute deadline day, my sports editor on a 1-person desk has a dire family emergency concerning his little boy (had to be hospitalized). myself (m.e.) and production person finished the pagination, proofing, etc. thank god it's done but tomorrow is absolute deadline for a second section for our sister weekly - 10 pages and four schools - and we're not sure of sports editor's availability. this is all in addition to our regular daily product and the regular weekly.

thursday can't come soon enough!
