Bullshit. Not voting is a choice, too.

And everybody has a God-given right to complain.

I'm sure it's in the Bible someplace.

If you want to "not vote" then show up, and write in candidates for people, or leave races or issues you don't care about blank.

Not showing up is ignorance or apathy, or both.

I am neither ignorant or apathetic, Zeke, but I'm not voting for the reasons I've already stated. Sorry.

I have voted every year since I became of legal age to do so.

It is a privilege to do so.

George Carlin argued that only the people that don't vote have a right to complain ... since they weren't responsible for putting the elected assholes into office.

As for me, I'll vote, but I'm not wild about any of the candidates.

    Already did.

I can't guarantee it will be counted.

Already did. This new system in Ohio is a beautiful thing.

    Physical limitations aside, casty.

    My bad.

LJB, obviously I can echo both sentiments. Especially here.

On November 13 I'm voting to re-elect David Miller as Mayor of Toronto.

He looks good in his mayoralty necklace.

To the people who don't vote because "they're all bums," I would ask them if they rush out to vote on referendums and local school issues, etc. when NO candidates are involved?

A guy I work with says, "I don't vote because too I'm lazy." Thank you -- honesty.

I've been voting since I was 14 years old. At that time, my uncle lived with us for a year. He was 18 years old (mom's much younger brother) and said he didn't care. So I paid him 10 bucks to go vote for my candidates.

    I was a weird kid...

Outing Alert!: Lugnuts is Anthony Michael Hall's character from the Breakfast Club.
