    The renegade site would probably be interesting to historians, as well, but it would be like Jesse and Spooge trying to get into the ATM, as the proprietor has closed it to outsiders.

    If the politics thread gets shut down for good, I might not be around.

    I don't get why it's such a headache for the mods. Seems to me most discussion is of substance and it's a compelling place to get different perspectives. It's an asset to this site, not a detriment.
