Will the Paterno statue come down?

I could see it going either way.

 

It should have come down with a hammer the day the reports were released.

 

I'm glad we can vote for all three options...

 

I'm curious about Penn State's home opener and what, if anything now, the school will do to honor Paterno now that he's died. Will they go with a moment of silence and call it a day? Even that won't sit well with some in the anti-Paterno set at this point.

 

Only, if it goes down like the saddam hussein statue.

 

Hadn't thought about that. Pretty tough to pretend 60 years of history never happened even if you want to.

 

The statute will not come down, and the opening-day honoring of Paterno will be off the hook. Seriously. Anyone who thinks otherwise, haven't been reading comments on the PedoStateU websites.

It will be hard to honor him if they don't play any football games this season.

Hell, give them the death penalty and leave the statue up so people can be reminded of what the guy did.
