Because they are all locked in the same bubble.

With UConn canceling the football season, what will that do to the other sports at the school? Does UConn football generate enough revenue to pay for them or is WBB their cash cow?

Men's and women's basketball make money. Football loses it.

Historically both men's and woman's basketball also lose money at UConn.

Behind the Numbers: UConn's $42.3 million athletic budget deficit

Both men's and woman's basketball lost over three million dollars. Men's basketball revenue will improve in the Big East but I don't know if it will be enough to become profitable.

Woman's basketball loses money in large part to the absence of meaningful television money.

This is also true at the University of Kentucky.

There's no way any SEC football team loses money, even Kentucky or Vandy.

That is a very good point.

Some games Kroger Field’s seats are a sea of whoever the ‘Cats are playing.
