The purge apparently continues with Cal. Bears' apparel no longer available on the UA site.

And they may not be the only ones. Others with deals announced since 2015 but no presence on the company store: Old Dominion, UAB, Georgia State, Kent State and Coastal Carolina. UAB announced its deal would run through 2023. Georgia State said 2024. ODU's contract was announced in 2015 as a five-year deal and may be expiring naturally. Coastal (2016) and Kent State (2017) did not specify the time frames.

Sounds as if UA is going broke and doesn't want to pay up anymore.

Yep. Major case of buyer's remorse.
They'll settle and move on. Gotta wonder what their stock will do tomorrow. Was at $25.11 a year ago. Closed at $9.11 on Friday.

How is/was the UA gear trash? What had rendered it no longer dope?

It's only an FCS game, but the Sept. 3 Dayton-SE Missouri game has been canceled due to COVID. First of many, I fear.

Not the first to go. An HBCU Classic in Memphis was canceled last week or the week before, and the Patriot League has basically said non-conference games requiring travel -- somebody was going to Hawaii -- aren't happening.

Goddamned libruhls who don't want to play. Don't they know they're here for our entertainment? Especially this guy, who looks like he might be one of those Black Lives Matter people who need to get another country. At least that's what Coach Dabo says.

I am heartened to see players opting out of this sham even if they're not calling it a sham.

Is the sham the baseball season?

It may be a function of the dragon mascot, but the UA gear that UAB has are hands down the best unis we've ever had. Very popular here.
