    Yesterday, coming out of a department store, a woman was walking, head down, texting someone and veered right into me.

    What in the fuck is so goddamn important it keeps you from LOOKING WHERE YOU'RE WALKING!?

    or driving? Texting while driving is ... well, it should be a criminal offense.

    Oh, hey, I agree completely. I hate the fucking things. I have friend I visit back home about four times a year, all he does is text; at the bar, at home, while driving, at the game, whatever.

    It drives me fucking insane.

    Actually, there are a number of states where that is under consideration at the legislature level. Would not be surprised to see this passed into law in some states this year.

    Doesn't New York have a law about cell phone use while driving?

    We've had a few people confess to texting full novels while driving. I don't see how...
