Why yes, I do have another iPod question for the board

    Yes, it's 2008 and I still don't have one, but I'm finally thinking of getting one, so here's my question:

    Does iTunes allow you to store the music on an external hard drive? I have a new laptop with a buttload of memory, but I'd rather keep the music off it.

    Yes, I'm pretty sure you can put your ITunes folder wherever you want, but if you want to listen to your music on your laptop through ITunes, you will need the external hard drive hooked up.

    I have an iPod Nano, but I'm reluctant to take it anywhere. One, I'm afraid that someone will steal it; two, I'm afraid that I won't be able to hear what's going on and shit will happen in my neighborhood.
