    actually, the yankees also played at the polo grounds as well.

    Whatever you do, don't make me have to watch the Giants at Candlestick ever, ever again! And when the Niners head south, bring on the wrecking ball!!

    I think the coldest I have ever been at a sports event was a Giants-Mets game at Candlestick -- in June. Left in the seventh inning to seek whiskey, I mean, shelter, and it was a 1-1 tie with Marichal and Seaver pitching.

    Sheeeit . . . I've parked in Bronzeville and walked to the park for a night game, with no issues.

    Arriving and (especially) leaving with the crowd is the best insurance, should you need any.

    Yeah, but that was before Yankee Stadium was built, right? The parks listed are just since Dodger Stadium opened in 1962.
