Attached to the strange picture is a pretty good story by magazine writer Jason Gay, who has written for Rolling Stone, GQ, etc., and whose last name fits very well with Details' design and audience.

 

That's a pretty good capturing of A-Rod with his greatest love

 

I thought Details was a poor man's GQ, not a gay man's gay GQ.

 

Current editor has acknowledged gay males comprise a significant segment of the book's audience. If Details had to rely on its straight clientele alone, they'd be in dire straits.

 

We always make fun of one of my friends for getting it still, as the next woman on the cover of Details will be the first. (The next smoldering cover of Tom Cruise or Zac Efron will be the 100th!)

Not that there's anything wrong with that! (seriously, i was making a joke)

That being said, this also appears to be from the new issue, a story about two identical twin gay porn stars.
