    This is why I abandoned things early, but I do appreciate others doing the dirty work here.

    The post about being blacklisted and unable to find another job in newspapers was so dumb that it MUST be a put-on.

    I think it's half and half. I'm pretty certain he doesn't post under another name, for a variety of reasons. But I'm also pretty certain he thinks this is all good funny. Good riddance.

    I dealt directly with Jim in 2001, at the time of the infamous USA Today "Blue Ball Three" brouhaha.

    I was impressed with his professionalism at that time and, like most, thought he was treated shabbily by Poynter.
