    Seems to me as though he's doing one of the things the writing feedback forum moderators warn us about: Presenting someone else's work for negative criticism.

    It seems pretty hard to despise someone personally if you've never met him. I can say I despise the persona Jay Mariotti displays on Around The Horn. I can even say I despise his columns. But I've never met the man.
