Why don't men take care of themselves?

That's been my experience as well. It establishes a cycle. You exercise, so you eat better because you don't want to waste the effort. Then you make sure you exercise because you don't want the practice of eating better to be for naught. I don't think you can achieve any measurable fitness goals without doing both.

Were I live, more women than men buzz around on scooters in Walmart because they're too fat to walk.

That's probably because the men in the family are too fat to leave the house.

As of today, I'm quitting smoking.

I had one when I woke up, and one on the way to the Humane Society. I'll have a few more before I go to bed.

    Quitting is easy!

    I'm quitting sweets.

    That's what I meant.

I'm going to quit black-tar heroin.

Dude, NEVER quit that. Makes these discussions MUCH easier.

It's getting too expensive. It's either quit that or bacon. And bacon always wins.

As I wash down a large cannoli covered with chocolate chips and powdered sugar, after having just eaten enough mashed potatoes to feed 10.

    Understood. Wise choice.

Plus, bacon comes in so many things. Baconnaise. Bacon salt. Bacon gumballs. Chocolate covered bacon. It's way more versatile than plain ol' heroin.

If they could mix opium with bacon and make it injectable, we'd have a lot more smackheads.

    Indeed, bacon covered with cinnamon/sugar.
