Why does this FAU professor still have a job?

A friend of mine's mom was killed in the OKC bombing and she was harassed by some folks convinced the government ran a false flag. That was my introduction to these whackos. It was pretty mild for her - couple of letters and some phone calls - compared to what the victims' families go through now.

And of all his stupidity, the fact Trump appears on-air with Alex Jones (the leader of these idiot truthers) should disturb everybody.

It's Florida - whack job capital of North America. FAU's school president and board of trustees probably agree with the guy.

It doesn't protect libel and I'm pretty sure accusing someone of some serious crimes without a shred of evidence to back it up is libel.

Funny how people who subscribe to certain ideologies and normally supportive of tenure are against it when a professor's stance is "abhorrent."

Are you saying it isn't abhorrent?

And this guy has the nerve to say questioning whether or not the shootings happened would be "good journalism"

Former FAU professor questions whether Sandy Hook massacre was staged

This guy is a jackass. Neither ideology nor tenure enter into it. He's stomped all over the bounds of simple human decency.
