    He actually plugged the NBA's online store. On air. He held up the championship shirt and cap, and it would have been seen if not for a clip.

    We still heard him saying it was available at nbastore.com.

    Cuz, that's not cool.

    A contract is one thing, but pimping their stuff? I've never seen an anchor do that, contract or not.

    Because ESPN is on the cutting edge of sports marketing and cross promotion, and really doesn't give a shit what anyone thinks, they're going to do it anyway.
    Am looking forward to the lame defense by the suits in this quarter's ombudsman column
