I haven't heard a word about them this week. So I am look over the medal count - Canada is nowhere to be found.

Why did they boycott? Is China clubbing even more baby seals than Canada?

I was able to watch the 2004 Olympics on Canadian TV (albeit in French), and every afternoon seemed like one Canadian disappointment after another. So far, Beijing seems to be exponentially worse.

And remember: Canada's the only country to host both a Winter and Summer Olympics and not win a gold medal in either. No pressure in Vancouver, guys!

    Cut Canada some slack.

    These are the summer games.

Their summer is only about 20 minutes long.

    That's well-played there.

We were already for the hockey game but somebody let Michael Phelps melt the damn ice.

On a serious note, we do an extremely pitiful job of funding our athletes.
