Why can't we straighten Mexico out?

If this is a threat from the drug cartels...

Why the hell can't we employ our military to take out these compounds and then napalm the fields? There's no other reasons why except their drug cartels have their tentacles in our government.

A punk country on our borders shouldn't be getting away with this.

  2. St. Pierre and Miquelon is a bigger threat.

You want to invade Mexico and napalm it for good measure?

I'll begrudgingly go along with you, if we can do Canada, too.

Sorry, liesl, the future of the free world demands it. You would enjoy California more anyway.

If you can figure out a way to take out Dallas while leaving Houston intact, I am all for it.

Some in here clearly benefit from Mexico's exports.

    A) I'm not necessarily on board with invading another country because we're not happy that one of our people violated their laws and is having a terrible time in their prison. I don't know what the hell he was thinking taking a gun into Mexico, where the guns laws are very stringent.

    B) The Mexican military and the police are largely controlled by the cartels, so you can't go to war with a cartel without going to war with the Mexican military.

If we couldn't take the Mexican military, we're in trouble. And I'd be going to war over the drug threat they are to us, not the arrest, although that arrest is wrong even if it was a misguided move by the soldier.
