Why aren't McCain's gaffes getting much coverage?

Maybe McCain should go for the Greek presidency. [/crossthreading]

I just want to know what the heck McCain's going to do about the Ottoman Empire.

There is not a major candidate out there who hasn't had an interview favorably edited or asked to have it done.

No, the media isn't being unfair to McCain, but he still has not even come close to getting the coverage given to Obama.

I'm sure the five people who give a fuck will take note of that.

And if it was John Kerry vs. Colin Powell, the GOP would be lapping the Dems in coverage.

The historical nature of the race trumps all the "liberal/conservative" bias claims that are out there.

If it were Obama vs. Colin Powell Obama would still be getting more coverage.

Yes, the historic nature of this election is a factor in that... So is liberal bias.

On a side note, any predictions on who Powell will endorse? He's supposedly talked with both and WILL endorse...

I'll bet he endorses McCain. But, that's hardly a slam dunk.

Former RNC chairman Rich Bond thanks you for sticking to the playbook.

Not to mention that ABC is virtually an arm of the RNC.

People who want to be assured they're not electing another Dubya into the White House.
