Why are all suitcases black? (AKA running SC flies East thread)

    If you fly through O'Hare with any regularity, you will lose your luggage. My inevitable day came in '05. Had my bag a day later.

    I always pack to much stuff because I would rather be over-prepared than under-prepared and have to go shopping for clothes on a trip. I also always check my bags because I hate having to carry a bunch of shit around the airport.

    I have nothing good to say about the airport in Portland. A broken conveyor belt caused me to miss a connecting flight to SF; later the people in Portland sent my bags to LA.

    To say I was displeased is to put in mildly.

    What ever you do, make sure you get luggage that is well made and durable. And has a handle on the top, side and bottom. And pack breakables carefully.
