You mean like the "game story" I cited?

I'm still not quite sure how we as a people spent more than 2 minutes in the crapper without a blackberry or iPhone or whatever.

This made me think of this focus group I was watching a few years back.
This one in particular was interesting. The group was all "avid" readers for the sports section. And they were. They all knew the columnists and a many of the newsmakers. So, they were legit.

A few months before we launched a weekend package highlighting the weekend to come with various features and look-aheads and moved one of the bigger columnists to Friday. We liked it. Nothing ground breaking, just some re-org and packaging.

We wanted to know if the "avid" reader had noticed.

The question: What is your favorite part of the Friday sports section?
    a) The sports section being a guide to your weekend
    b) Weekend features such as "See-And-Do" ... and etc?
    c) [Back-page color ad for big box store]
    d) [Big name columnist] column now appearing on Fridays.

I don't have to tell you how 18 of 20 "avid" readers answered.
