Surprised it took so long for Buffet's name to be mentioned. I think the Dow could fly at half-mast when that happens. At least those Berkshire Hathaway shares are going to be thrown ito turmoil without the Oracle steering.

Maybe Steve Jobs' condition has us braced, but he or Bill Gates would be a big deal too.

    Spielberg.

    Bin Laden (confirmed).

    LeBron?

I was scrolling to see if someone mantioned her.

    In America...

    1. Obama
    2. Oprah (distant second)

Tom Hanks would be on the list, I just don't know where.

    Is Pele alive?

I can't believe we're trying to compare whether the death of a sitting president would be more significant than the death of a celebrity or athlete.

Truthfully, I'm already tired of the Michael Jackson coverage.

had this debate last night with some people, but we made it just athletes/celebs, eliminating politicians.

Two more I'd add. Tom Cruise. Bono.

And to turn it into a Kobe vs. LeBron debate, I think Kobe would be bigger worldwide. He was more popular than LeBron at the Olympics.

And for me, when Jack Nicholson dies, it'll be a sad, sad day.

When Keyboard Cat dies, who's going to play it off?

Diego Maradona's would trump Pele's, I think. To many Pele is just a name associated with soccer. Maradona quit playing in 1997, people still love him or hate his guts.
