    Bag of rocks

    b. [IMG]

    Jakob Dylan

If you answered "a." you are correct.

And I nominate "Tricephus"...Hank Williams, III.

Well, she is 52 years old (as of yesterday I just discovered--belated happy birthday, CC), so I'm thinking aging also is a factor here as much as any history of drug usage.

I don't care if Jakob is dumb, as long as he looks good.

While we're on the subject of Carlene Carter, her mother, June, was the daughter of a pretty famous musician herself, Maybelle of Carter Family fame. (A.P. and Sara Carter were June's uncle and aunt). I always respected June's contribution to music, though I think Reese Witherspoon is a better singer.

I also think Eagle Eye Cherry (son of Don, brother of Neneh) was one of the great one-hit wonders of all time. His "Stay Tonight" was a hell of a tune. I guess you could put Neneh Cherry in this category, too.

If I read the thread title right, we're not necessarily talking about children who are musicians here. If that's the case, I nominate Ione Skye (daughter of Donovan Leitch).

And wasn't Will Ferrell's father keyboard player for Bachman Turner Overdrive or some such band?

I think he played keyboards for the Righteous Brothers.

She said that least once, as I recall, with her Johnny and June Carter in the crowd.

That was it. Thanks for clearing that up.
