Too much discussion of actual issues. Not enough discussion of the douchebag in question. Or of my belly button. BTT, and stay focused people.

If the award is supposed to account for integrity and the integrity of a player is in question then it is extremely relevant.

To say Cam Newton had no idea his daddy was shopping him around is utterly naive. We all know if Cam Newton played at Arkansas State he'd have never been reinstated.

    A random conspiracy theory:

Would anyone be shocked if a few weeks or months after the title game -- once the money's been counted -- the NCAA suddenly finds "new evidence" and smacks down Auburn and Newton?

Anyone who rips someone for exercising his/her right to vote by voting for whoever they want to is an effing jack wagon.

Doyel picks at whatever fresh scab he can find. He's an arsonist, not a columnist. He should be ripped for not writing what he believes but for writing what he thinks is controversial and will get him hits and comments. He is and will continue to be a fake columnist.

Things parents about which their parents may know little:
    -- Infidelity.
    -- Alcohol abuse.
    -- White-collar crime.
Hey, how come all the sons and daughters of mortgage brokers and bond traders didn't recognize what their folks were up to and save us from the sub-prime mortage meltdown?
    What's wrong with you children!

No problem with the column. Big problem with the language. It's possible to make the same point without talking like a seventh-grader.
