Who's staffing the Super Bowl?

If not, I bet their readers would let them hear about it.

But if you cover them, be prepared to hear from Jets fans if you don't cover their next Super Bowl.

Let's ask the question another way.

Are there any papers that anyone is aware of that regularly send staffers to the local NFL's teams road games not sending someone to the Super Bowl?

Curious how many USA Today sends considering Indy is one of Gannett's bigger papers. Lopresti will be there. One NFL writer seems about right. Leave sidebar duty to Indy/Cincy. Also curious whether smaller NY/NJ Gannett papers go or share.

I would be willing to cover the Super Bowl for any of the papers that cannot afford to cover it. I work for free. :) Just cover my hotel and airfare and I will write a story for your paper.

    :D

But her copy would have a lot of F bombs in it. A lot. So there's that.

I opted not to send anyone. We double, at a minimum, every Redskins road game. I felt the Senior Bowl, with the Redskins staff there, was a better use of our money. We have a freelancer providing us a few stories during the week. We'll use wires for game

Right call? Maybe, maybe not. But it is what we're doing.

Outing alert: Moddy is the guy at the airport picking up styro coolers full of shrimp from his writer.
