    I'm now of the opinion that I don't give a shit. It doesn't matter. It's splitting hairs. If either team loses, it won't matter anyway. Ditto if they both win.

    At halftime of the Mizzou-KU game, I'd have said Mizzou. After, I gotta go with West Virginia. Hanging 66 on the second-place team in your conference looks damned impressive. Nearly blowing a 21-point lead? Not so much.
    Mizzou will be No. 2, though. This time of year, that's just as good.

    I had WVa No. 2 last week in the SJ poll and Mizzou 4th, so .... pretty obvious who's No. 1 to me.

    Fair enough. Missouri's best road win is probably 55-10 at Colorado, which isn't terribly impressive, but you can't pick your home-and-away schedule in the conference.

    WVU got a 6/6 home/road split. Tonight, Nov. 24, was only the 5th home game of the season and only the SECOND conference home game.
