From the talkback on one of the stories...

"I'll still take him over Stephen A. Smith."

I'm sorry, but that made me laugh my ass off.

Terrible. ("If true," per Joe Paterno.)

Be interesting to see if the scolds rise up and complain that these folks should have come forward much sooner in order to prevent future abuses.

Pretty much. Glad his wife isn't around to see this play out.

My first thought of sympathy isn't to his wife. Not sure I can buy that the wives of these creeps (Conlin, Sandusky) see nothing and know nothing for decades.

Who's to say charges won't eventually show up?

I mean, do we really think a guy accused of molesting children 40 years ago didn't allegedly molest children 30, 20 or 10 years ago?

Not really the point but how the hell did the woman "not know her uncle had grandchildren"

Story says he turns 78 in May. Odd way of saying he's 77.

Shoeless, wondered the same thing. Can't have been a very close family if that's the case ...

If her parents made the decision to cut him off, and then especially made the decision to never bring up his name to her even on the rare occasions that they did see or hear about him, this would not be difficult to believe.
