Real high school football game of the week:
Sectional playoffs semifinal last night...final score 63-56.

Winning QB ran for 367 yards and 6 TDs, passed for 98 yds. and 1 TD
Losing QB ran for 267 and 7 TDs, passed for 330 and 1 TD.
Losing team, without a kicker, also missed 8 of 9 two-point conversion tries.

Sounds like that Illinois-Michigan game two or three weeks ago.

There's no soccer players at a high school in New Jersey? That seems odd. Par for the course in the back of beyond in places like Georgia and Alabama, but just seems strange in a place like Jersey.

    Make all 9 and it's a 63-all game.

Who needs eight-man football? America does, spnited. America.

You don't hate America ... do you?

    That seems fairly obvious.

There was an eight-overtime game around here that ended up 88-82 last week.

Covered an eight-man game for the first time last week and it was kind of fun. But it was nice to go back to 11-man last night, to see a 50-yard line again!
