    The Damned.

The UK's finest band to come out of the late 70s punk scene. While the Sex Pistols and Clash collapsed under their own weight, the Damned kept going and the results have always been respectable.

Was just about to post Alice In Chains.

Best band to come out of Seattle in the 1990s, for my money. They were amazing.

Barenaked Ladies: Some of the most unique lyrics around; great pop hooks and still make you think; they helped define who I am.

... and good call or ELO.

What about Creedence Clearwater Revival? First CD my family bought ... CCR's greatest hits.

Soundgarden's Badmotorfinger and Alice in Chains' Dirt holds up well with just about anything that came out in the 1990s...
