This could start a nice debate (argument), but my choice for most overrated is ... Carlos Beltran.

Never seen a middle reliever receive so much hype after so little time in the majors.

Overrated by whom? The media? Fans?

  8. I don't think Jeter is overrated. Defensively, perhaps, but if I've got a runner in scoring position with two outs, I'd want him at the plate more than anyone. And I hate the Yankees with a passion.

No one gets more cheap, dump hits than that guy when the situation calls for it. No one.

The top three overrated players, in my mind, are:
    a) Jorge Posada
    b) Jorge Posada, and
    c) Jorge Posada

Right now I have to go with Joba Chamberlain.

Seriously, this fuck wasn't even the No. 1 overall pick and ESPN is treating him like the second coming. And he's not that impressive.

Overall, it has to be Jeter. Most overrated shortstop maybe in history.

If it isn't Gonzalez, then it's Lopez.
