It's not going to happen. If AP voters thought so much of Ohio State, they'd be voting them ahead of Alabama now.

It won't happen unless Bama loses again and no other team winds up undefeated. Even then, it probably won't happen because there will be voters who will downgrade Ohio State because it's on probation.

Ohio State's more likely to be downgraded because the Big Ten flat-out sucks this year.

According to Jeff Sagarin, Ohio State has played the 54th toughest schedule in the country. The only team even remotely in the national title discussion with a worse schedule is Florida State at 93rd (though it will improve greatly when Florida is counted).

    Sagarin's overall ratings right now:

    1. Alabama
    2. Notre Dame
    3. Oregon
    4. Florida
    5. Kansas State
    6. Texas A&M
    7. Stanford
    8. Georgia
    9. Oklahoma
    10. Oregon State

Sagarin's ELO Chess ratings, used in the BCS and void of point differential:

    1. Notre Dame
    2. Florida
    3. Alabama
    4. Stanford
    5. Oregon
    6. Georgia
    7. Kansas State
    8. LSU
    9. South Carolina
    10. Oregon State

And Sagarin's Predictor ratings, used to generate gambling picks:

    1. Alabama (which would be favored by Sagarin in any matchup, at any venue)
    2. Oregon
    3. Texas A&M
    4. Notre Dame
    5. Kansas State
    6. Oklahoma
    7. Florida
    8. Oregon State
    9. Stanford
    10. Georgia
