    If you like, please post how you voted and explain. If you're out of journalism due to layoff but looking for a job and want back in, please say. Or if you're out due to layoff and don't plan to return to the field, please say.

    In, but at a non-profit news agency that focuses on a very unique beat. Oh, and it's an internship and I'm three years removed from school, but it's what I could find.

    Going on 40 years in the business and fully expecting to make it another 5 or 6 years to retirement.

    Never did work in journalism when I got out of college. After working at the college paper for awhile which I really enjoyed, I found out how bleak the industry was upon graduation. I applied for jobs for months and received a small handful of replies back and a smaller handful of requests for interviews.

    After that, I gave up.

    In, but full-time freelancing. And the majority of my income is online media.
